Barcelona Captain confirms departure after 18 years
Sergio Busquets has revealed he will leave the club at the end of the season after 18 years of his service to the club.
He has had 718 appearances and is now third on the list of all time appearances in the club. Sergio Busquets has won 8 Laliga titles, 7 Copa del Reys ,7 Spanish Super Cups, 3 Champions Leagues, 3 European Super Cups and 3 Club World Cups
” Although it has not been an easy direction,I think the time has come, everything has a beginning and an end . I want to thank all the people who made this possible, from the first day to the last” Sergio Busquets said.
He began his footballing journey in 2005 as a youth player and rose through the ranks to make his first debut under Pep Guardiola in 2008.
